Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 30 June 2026

Minedate is a dating application intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards, the steps we take to prevent CSAE, and how anyone can report a concern.

Our commitment

  • Minedate strictly prohibits CSAE and CSAM of any kind on our platform.
  • The app is restricted to users aged 18 and over. Accounts belonging to, or impersonating, minors are removed.
  • We prohibit any content, conduct, grooming, solicitation, or communication that sexualizes or endangers a child.
  • We act quickly on reports and cooperate with law enforcement and child-protection organizations.

Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly forbidden and result in immediate removal:

  • Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — imagery, text, or links
  • Sexualization of minors in any form
  • Grooming, enticement, or solicitation of a minor
  • Accounts created by or impersonating anyone under 18
  • Sharing or requesting sexual content involving minors

How we prevent CSAE

  • Age gate: users must confirm they are 18+ and provide a date of birth at sign-up; under-18 registrations are blocked.
  • Photo verification: a blue-tick verification process helps reduce fake and impersonating profiles.
  • Moderation: reported content and accounts are reviewed by our safety team, and violating accounts are banned.
  • In-app blocking and reporting tools are available on every profile and chat.
  • Repeat or serious offenders are permanently banned and, where required, referred to authorities.

How to report a child safety concern

Anyone can report CSAE concerns — you do not need an account:

  • In the app: open the profile or chat, tap the menu, and choose Report or Block. Select the relevant reason.
  • By email: contact us at support@minedate.app with details and any evidence.

Reports are treated as a priority. We review them promptly, remove offending content and accounts, and preserve relevant information for investigations.

Compliance and reporting to authorities

Minedate complies with all applicable child-safety laws. When we identify apparent CSAM, we remove it, disable the responsible account, and report to the relevant regional and national authorities and recognized child-protection organizations (for example, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement), as required by law.
