This page explains how to request deletion of your Minedate account and the data associated with it. Minedate is operated by Minedate. If you have any trouble, email support@minedate.app.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
You can permanently delete your account directly in the Minedate app:
- Open the Minedate app and sign in
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
Your account and data are removed immediately when you confirm.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email support@minedate.app from the email you can be reached at, with:
- Subject line: "Delete my Minedate account"
- The mobile number registered to your Minedate account
We may contact you to verify ownership of the account before deleting it. Verified requests are completed within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, date of birth, gender, bio, interests, city)
- All photos and stories you uploaded
- Your matches, likes, and swipes
- Your chat messages and voice notes
- Your notifications and app activity
- Your saved push-notification token and preferences
What may be kept, and for how long
For legal, tax, security, and fraud-prevention reasons, a limited amount of data may be retained after account deletion:
- Transaction and purchase records (required for tax/accounting) — retained up to 7 years as required by law
- Records needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or to comply with a legal obligation — retained only as long as necessary
Retained records are minimized and are not used to build an active profile of you. Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be kept for analytics.
